Here are some of the more promising projects that we could imagine working with while figuring out our housing situation on The Farm.

Open Building Institute

The Open Building Institute, which is part of the Open Source Ecology project, is an open source effort to make ecological, affordable housing widely available. Their goal is to be able to build an ecologically sound 2 bedroom / 1 bath house, using mostly local materials, for < $25,000 USD.

WikiHouse

WikiHouse is a digitally-manufactured building system. It aims to make it simple for anyone to design, manufacture and assemble beautiful, high-performance homes that are customized to their needs.
