# The Prototype Farm ![](/files/-Lkiu1useRhT_Z4PUGL2) Vincent Horn's grandparents, **Latif & Peggy Fakhoury**, have been operating a small family farm for over 3 decades in Western North Carolina, and offered for us to plant on their land. We're thinking of this as our Prototype Farm, as we have a chance to learn basic organic farming methods, get more familiar with the Western North Carolina Bioregion, and harvest delicious organic food! During the growing season, we'll be out to the Prototype Farm every weekend to take care of our plants, and to learn.
